WILDWOOD CLINIC INFORMATION
The Third Annual Wildwood Running PDX(Portland, Oregon) Clinic is open for registration. Wildwood will showcase experts, clinicians and coaches to support your growth as a coach!
As we know, running is so much more than running! This 1.5 day clinic will focus on supporting and empowering the young female distance runner. While many clinics focus on the X's and O's, they focus on all the layers beyond the training that will support your athletes.
Speakers will present on the important role of the coach, team culture, positive mindset, nutrition, coaching the individual within a team, female physiology, Iron and more. The content will challenge you to be the best coach you can while also providing immediate tools to add to your program.
Unlike last year, this will be a coaches only clinic. Wildwood will host an athlete workshop later in the winter.
This clinic will take place at Central Catholic High School in SE Portland. Friday, December 8th will start at 3:30pm with a social immediately following. Saturday, December 9th will run from 9:00 - 5:00 with a social following.
As a nonprofit, Wildwood is excited to offer scholarships for coaches. Please compete this form if you are interested in applying for a scholarship.
