How to watch: Pac 12 Network


University of Washington is the host of the last Pac 12 Cross Country Championship on Friday at Chambers Creek Regional Park near Tacoma, Wa.


Stanford Men's Team from 2022

The men's race goes off first at 10:10 PT. A recent cross country coaches poll (USTFCCCA) has Colorado (#9) and Stanford (#25) ranked. Stanford is the defending Pac 12 champion. If Stanford wins this year, it would break a tie with Oregon with 17 conference victories. Colorado has won the Pac 12 Championship eight times.

The women's races starts at 11:10 PT and the Pac 12 has the most women's teams ranked in the recent USTFCCCA poll with Stanford #5, Oregon State #9, #14 Oregon, #19 Washington, #20 Colorado and #21 Utah. Colorado is the defending champion after winning the tiebreaker with Utah last fall.

Westside Classic - October 18

Chambers Creek Regional Park - University Place, WA


The day after the Pac 12 Championships, Washington area high school teams will be racing at Chambers Creek Regional Park for a spot at the WIAA State Meet held the following Saturday.

Some of the top girl's teams participating on Saturday include 4A teams of Union, Camas, Bellarmine Prep and Tahoma. Central Kitsap looks to qualify on Saturday and defend their 3A state title. Stadium and Gig Harbor are other strong contenders in the 3A division. White River looks to lead the 2A division. Top individual athletes include 3A athletes Elektra Higgins of Peninsula, Latham West of Bonney Lake, Clare Herring and Audra Palmer of Central Kitsap. Charlotte Wilson of Union and Alison Whalen of Bellarmine Prep will shine in the 4A division.


McCoy Brooks of Enumclaw

Top boy's teams include 4A Union, Tahoma, Camas and Emerald Ridge. Gig Harbor and Central Kitsap are some of the top 3A schools and 2A Kingston will also compete on Saturday. Top boy individuals include McCoy Brooks of Enumclaw and Lucas Lenz of Kingston in the 2A race. Jonathan Miles of Gig Harbor in the 3A race and Bradley Harris of Union and Cooper Boyle of Tahoma in the 4A race.
