University of Washington hosts the third annual Mile City with over 1500 entries. The only race on the track on Saturday is the mile.

The top seeds in the women's invitational mile include professionals Eleanor Fulton and Claire Yerby. Chloe Foerster, Jenica Swartz, Mia Cochran from Washington, Erin Vringer and Brianna Rinn of Utah, Rosemary Longisa of Washington State and Kaiya Robertson of Boise State are some of the top collegiate runners in the invitational mile.

The mile is open to the community and this gives high school athletes an opportunity to race at the Mile City. Other high school athletes of note include Brynn Davenport of Crater, Sydney Kosa of Olympia, Sophie Schoolmeester of Banks, Evangeline Johnson Hess of South Eugene and Lauren Gerlach of Tualatin.

The men's invitational mile pros Sam Prakel, Brannon Kidder, Thomas Ratcliffe, Joe Waskom and Sam Eillis will race Washington athletes Evan Jenkins, Jamar Distel, Thomas Bilyard, Owen Powell, Josiah Tostenson, Reuben Reina JR and Thomas Diamond. Chris Caudillo of Cal Poly will also race in the invitational mile.
