Tacoma Twilight XC - October 16
University of Puget Sound - Tacoma, WA
Athletes gathered on the track at the University of Puget Sound to run on Thursday night. The football and track stadium at the university lacks stadium lights so temporary flood lights were placed at each end on the turns of the track and garden lights draped the fence around the track. The track also had a set of hay bales on each of the straightaway. All races were 2-miles on the track with JV races were run by grade level. Here is a recap of the varsity races.

Charlotte White of Curtis gradually pulled away from the pack and won in a time of 11:24.09. Marie Wiegman of host Bellarmine Prep came in second with a time of 11:33.78 and Catherine Harju of Stadium finished third in 11:45.07.
